Not sure what I think of this one. SPOILER ALERT: Coriolanus personality just seems to flip flop a lot. The ending especially seemed so sudden and it's left open ended somewhat. Not sure if it's to allow for another book but left me surprised!

I loved her previous books so I was excited to read this one, but it was kind of slow. There were too many overlapping stories, especially at the start. Bella and Eddie were the only two interesting ones until about 2/3rds of the way through the book when you learn about their “second character descriptions.” There is a big thing about Birds being super important that didn’t’ make sense to me until the end and was a little creepy. I kept reading just to find out what happened to Jake and was not disappointed by the ending. I’m glad I kept reading because the last 1/3 of the book was fantastic, I just though the first couple chapters were a little boring and it took too long to make connections between all the characters and who they were in the past.

The Summer Pact

Good book but heavy. It is easy to read which makes the heavy topics a little bit easy. There is a disclaimer at the start of the book, but I didn't think it touched on ALL the topics it should have.
